Jamie Martin Wolfe

WARSAW — A Warsaw man was arrested after officers responded to a domestic battery incident and discovered drugs.

Jamie Martin Wolfe, 42, 729 E. Fort Wayne St., Warsaw, is charged with possession of methamphetamine and domestic battery with moderate bodily injury, both level 6 felonies; domestic battery, a class A misdemeanor; and possession of paraphernalia, a class C misdemeanor.

On Dec. 22, 2021, several Warsaw Police officers responded to a domestic incident. When officers arrived, they spoke with a woman about what occurred.

According to court documents, the woman said she and Wolfe were arguing when Wolfe became angry and allegedly threw a mirror at her. The mirror hit the woman’s forehead, causing a laceration.

Wolfe told officers he and the woman had been arguing all day but said he did not hit her and didn’t know how he got blood on his hands.

While preparing to take Wolfe to the Kosciusko County Jail, officers found a glass smoking device with methamphetamine residue on Wolfe’s person.

Wolfe has already been arrested and released on his own recognizance. He has an initial hearing at 8:15 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 27.
