WARSAW — Despite holding a short meeting yesterday, Feb. 5, the Warsaw Redevelopment Commission has a busy year ahead of them with three major projects in sight.

Utility work concerning the Buffalo Street project will begin in the next few weeks. The commission approved a final easement for gas facilities to NIPSCO. This easement will allow NIPSCO to move and upgrade gas lines along Canal Street. A pre-construction meeting for the project will also be happening soon.

“The sooner we get past winter the quicker it will begin to take shape,” said Warsaw City Planner Jeremy Skinner.

Construction on phase two of the Technology Park will also begin this year.

The engineering of phase two of the CR 300N project is expected to be completed this year with construction occuring in 2019. One of the major next steps will be to being designing a roundabout which will be located at the intersection of Sheldon Street and CR 300N.
