WARSAW — A special celebration for St. Patrick’s Day will be downtown Warsaw Thursday, March 17. This is a 21 and over event. Local businesses will be joining forces to provide what is hoped to become an annual event.

Event Coordinator, Josh Fricke at 110 Craft Meatery, says Buffalo Street will be marked off, between Center Street and Main Street, starting at 11 a.m. so that preparations can begin. Tents will be set up in order to contain the celebration, which will last from 5-10 p.m.

Fricke also said 110 Craft Meatery is working in conjunction with BMacs and Mad Anthony’s Lake City Tap House in order bring this St. Patrick’s Day event to Warsaw. 110 Craft Meatery will be providing bangers and mash with corn beef and cabbage. BMacs will be offering a choice between lamb and reuben sliders as well as a variety of sides. Mad Anthony’s will be preparing six different beers for the evening, including green beer, a special drink called Lucky Charms, Irish car bombs and Irish whiskey shots.

Fricke said that there will be a bike ride starting at the Trail House in Winona Lake at 4:30 p.m. and anyone riding from Winona Lake to the St. Patrick’s Day event will get free admission to the event.

There will also be live entertainment provided by local band James and the Drifters, as well as a photo booth provided by C.Free.

Admission is $5 and food and drink tickets will cost an additional $5. Designated drivers will receive free admission and supplied with non-alcoholic drinks.
