Two Arrested On Burglary Charges

Trevor Alan Wertman, 19 and Trey Andrew Hall, 20, both of 8280 E. US 30, Pierceton, have been charged with burglary, a level 4 felony and theft, a level 6 felony. Both were arrested Tuesday.

Warsaw Police filed the affidavit of probable cause on Dec. 27. The court document states a homeowner reported between July 24 and 25, someone entered her home and stole a PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, controllers for the console, power cords and games.

Police were given a tip that Wertman and Hall had taken the items, valued at $800. Both suspects admitted entering the home with a third individual, while the homeowner was not present.

Both are being held on $6,000 surety bonds.
