With New Year’s Eve approaching tomorrow night, many are beginning to formulate their holiday plans. Though party goers may be mapping out an evening of champagne and fun, some may forget a very important and necessary part of the evening — a safe ride home.
Armed with a slew transportation vehicles, David Cesaretti, Fast Cab owner, is once again offering those drinking a safe ride to and from their destination. Fast Cab, which has provided free transportation to many Warsaw locations on New Year’s Eve for over 20 years, will be offering rides in party buses, limos and cars completely free-of-charge to those visiting local businesses Wednesday evening.
“If you don’t want to drink and drive, we have you covered. We are helping to keep the DUI’s down.” stated Cesaretti, who will be assisting in financing the program himself. Though the program does offer free rides to those in Warsaw to sponsor bars and liquor stores, rides will be available for a fee to other locations or residents outside of city limits.
Cesaretti kindly reminds patrons that the free service only includes a trip to and from the establishment — not stores or food chains. Rides will be offered to the Warsaw VFW and American Legion, Warsaw Bowling Alley, Susie’s Sandbar, Rex’s Rendezvous, The Time Out Bar and Grill, The Moose, Liquid Assets and Service Liquors.
