Freeman, EvaEva Belle Freeman, 93, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 2:50 a.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Plymouth, Ind.

She was born Feb. 6, 1920, in Pierceton, Ind., to Ora Edward Priser and Pearl Jane (Copeland) Priser. She lived most of her life in the Warsaw area.

She married Dale D. Freeman on Jan. 1, 1939, in Syracuse, Ind., and was a homemaker.

She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Warsaw; attended Plymouth Baptist Church, Plymouth. Her faith was important. She sewed her clothes, taught herself to play the organ and enjoyed organ music; loved her grandchildren and they remember her waking them up by tickling them. She enjoyed going on fishing trips, wintering in Florida, going to the fair, and she loved to walk and go out to eat.

Eva is survived by a daughter-in-law: Cheryl Freeman, Plymouth; two granddaughters: Cathy (Tom) Jolly, Plymouth; Christy Murphy, Plymouth; two grandsons: David (Stefanie) Freeman, Plymouth; and Daniel Freeman, Plymouth; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and two sisters: Rose (Robert) Lockridge, Warsaw; and Beverly Hoffer, Nappanee, Ind.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Dale D. Freeman; a son: Richard Freeman; five brothers: Ora Priser Jr., Joe Priser, Jim Priser, Kenny Priser and Chuck Priser; five sisters: Joann Priser, Louise Coldren, Viola Fletcher, Marge Moore and Marie Haines.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 6, at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. Funeral services will follow at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home, with Pastor Dave Hummel, Trinity United Methodist Church, Warsaw. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
